Requiem of the Rose King is a very dark canon and includes themes/instances of emotional abuse, incest, sexual trauma, and suicide. It's my policy not to mention any of these things in tags unless I know for certain the person I'm tagging is okay with it. I also won't discuss them on Discord or Plurk without a CW.

Also, one of the major aspects of Requiem of the Rose King and Richard's character is his struggle with his gender identity as an intersex person in a society with rigid gender roles and limited understanding of the human body. He has a very negative self-image as a result.
